Family Financial Transformations
Family Financial Transformations (FFT) is a program that helps individuals and families increase their savings or reduce debt through an individualized financial coaching plan. We work with participants’ values and goals to create a plan that works. Joy is a necessity, so judgment is never part of the process. FFT is a one-year program that includes wrap-around case management in addition to financial courses for the whole family—starting with family members as young as eight years old.

Kansas Loan Pool Project
The Kansas Loan Pool Project (KLPP) is designed to help eliminate high-interest title or payday loans by issuing participants a new, low-interest loan in addition to financial coaching. The goal of this program is to break the cycle of predatory lending that creates more hardships in an already difficult time. Each participant is enrolled in a financial education series to help develop a long-term financial plan and budget. They are also assigned a Catholic Charities case manager specialist to provide ongoing monthly support. On average, participants are in the program for 12 months. Other offerings include: Loan refinancing with 7.5% interest Partnership with local banking institutions to help participants build savings and credit scores

Workforce Development Program
Our Workforce Development Programs guide and support individuals who are seeking education to improve their employability or those that desire to earn a higher, sustainable working wage. Our services are available to refugees, immigrants, unemployed and under-employed individuals who want to receive industry-recognized credentials, earn gainful employment and become more self-sufficient members of society. This program is life-changing to those who take advantage. Our Workforce Development programing includes education & career advancement assistance through an accreditation program, a teenage - young adult youth mentorship program and general employment/job placement case management and support.

7 Family Support Centers (FSCs) and Rural Family Resource Bus
Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas serves 21 counties in Northeast Kansas through 7 Family Support Centers (5 in LMI census tracts, 3 in Opportunity Zones) and a Rural Resource Bus. These sites offer wraparound support starting with emergency assistance. Case managers use strength-based, trauma-informed care to meet each person’s holistic needs. Nearly all 30+ programs, including food, clothing, housing, financial coaching, and workforce development, are available through these access points. FSCs are located in Atchison, Leavenworth, Lawrence, Olathe, Topeka, Overland Park and Kansas City Kansas. The resource bus serves 15 counties, 5 of which are distressed middle-income counties: Brown, Coffey, Lyon, Marshall, and Nemaha.
