What does it mean for a nonprofit to be CRA aligned?
Each nonprofit on Community Qualifier has been reviewed by findCRA utilizing a dual evaluation process. Nonprofits are first evaluated by our proprietary algorithm, CRANIA, and then further validated by our CRA experts. When nonprofit passes both parts of this review, we create a nonprofit profile for them on Community Qualifier. From there, a nonprofit can claim their profile and add additional information including their programs & services, counties served, targeted clients and income groups and more.

Programs & Services info
Capacity Building: National Trainings for Housing Counselors
A core part of our Capacity Building program is bringing a robust lineup of trainings for nonprofit housing professionals, with a specific focus on educating housing counselors. Most housing counseling clients are at or below 80% AMI. By supporting housing counselors, our Training Center aids low- to moderate-income households and communities. Our goal is to equip housing counselors to better help individuals and families find and keep good homes. We're proud to be one of seven organizations in the nation funded by HUD to provide education for HUD-certified housing counselors. Since expanding our trainings nationwide in 2021, we have trained counselors from 40+ states. In 2024, our trainings were attended by 636 participants.
