THE IONIA COUNTY ECONOMIC ALLIANCE IS ORGANIZED FOR THE FOLLOWING PURPOSES: (A) TO ENCOURAGE AND FACILITATE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITY IN IONIA COUNTY, MICHIGAN; (B) TO RETAIN AND CREATE NEW JOB OPPORTUNITIES IN IONIA COUNTY, MICHIGAN; (C) TO INCREASE PRIVATE SECTOR INVESTMENTS AND TAX BASE IN IONIA COUNTY, MICHIGAN; (D) TO PROVIDE IONIA COUNTY AND ITS LOCAL UNITS OF GOVERNMENT WITH ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT SERVICES; (E) TO DEVELOP, COORDINATE, AND DELIVER SERVICES RELATING TO ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT; (F) TO IMPROVE THE ECONOMY OF IONIA COUNTY, MICHIGAN; AND (G) TO ASSIST NEW AND EXISTING BUSINESSES AND INDUSTRIES, AND TO DEVELOP NEW ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVES AND PROGRAMS IN IONIA COUNTY, MICHIGAN.
