What does it mean for a nonprofit to be CRA aligned?
Each nonprofit on Community Qualifier has been reviewed by findCRA utilizing a dual evaluation process. Nonprofits are first evaluated by our proprietary algorithm, CRANIA, and then further validated by our CRA experts. When nonprofit passes both parts of this review, we create a nonprofit profile for them on Community Qualifier. From there, a nonprofit can claim their profile and add additional information including their programs & services, counties served, targeted clients and income groups and more.

Programs & Services info
Project Launch
Kitchens for Good (KFG) is a San Diego based nonprofit with the mission to transform lives through culinary arts. We provide individuals with complex barriers to employment life-transforming opportunities through an apprenticeship model combining job training, wraparound services, and social enterprises. The organization’s goal is to create living-wage career pathways for our clients while simultaneously generating revenue to reinvest into programs. Whereas many workforce development programs provide participants with 40 hours of technical skills before they start on-the-job training, KFG provides over 250 hours of culinary, baking, or hospitality skills and 30 hours of workforce readiness (soft skills) before job placement.
