CRA Story info
For 80 years, the March of Dimes has helped millions of babies survive and thrive. We’re now building on that legacy to level the playing field for all moms and babies, no matter their age, socio-economic background or demographics. Through our programs, advocacy and pioneering research, March of Dimes leads the fight for the health of all moms and babies. While focused on all mothers and babies throughout the nation, March of Dimes has developed specific programs and services targeted to low-income women and babies to ensure their health and success. Banks that support these targeted programs would receive CRA exam credit.

GROUP PRENATAL CARE
This program sustains group prenatal care across the United States targeted at low-income women and women of color in high-need communities. Group prenatal care is clinical care and prenatal education provided in a group setting to support women attending the sessions. Studies have shown that group prenatal care significantly decreases adverse birth outcomes. This program meets all clinical guidelines and is available nationally. Targeted states include Arizona, Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, New York, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and Washington. Since the majority of participants are low-income, this program is an ideal opportunity for banks to receive positive CRA consideration.
