Foreclosure Avoidance Counseling and Education
NeighborWorks Mountain Country Home Solutions (NMCHS) helps distressed homeowners avoid foreclosure with our mitigation services which includes proper budgeting, saving and instituting payment schedules. If necessary, we also help them apply for a loan modification or workout with their lender (we work with them throughout this process). We also stay current with the latest federal regulations. We are one of only four HUD certified counseling agencies to offer this service to the residents of Utah and the other three are all located in Salt Lake County.

Affordable Housing Program
NeighborWorks MCHS has been providing affordable housing options in Utah for the past 27 years and we have been counseling/educating homeowners and prospective homeowners since 2005. To date, NeighborWorks MCHS has built and sold 51 new homes and rehabbed and sold 60 existing homes. Our current rental portfolio includes a 59-unit affordable housing complex in downtown Provo which houses 214 individuals. We also have 30 single family units in Utah, Sevier and Garfield County which house 114 individuals.
