What does it mean for a nonprofit to be CRA aligned?
Each nonprofit on Community Qualifier has been reviewed by findCRA utilizing a dual evaluation process. Nonprofits are first evaluated by our proprietary algorithm, CRANIA, and then further validated by our CRA experts. When nonprofit passes both parts of this review, we create a nonprofit profile for them on Community Qualifier. From there, a nonprofit can claim their profile and add additional information including their programs & services, counties served, targeted clients and income groups and more.

We use Structured Literacy, a teaching method that draws on 50 years of research on effective reading and writing strategies. This evidence-based approach enables students to learn at their own pace while building essential skills including phonemic awareness, fluency and comprehension. English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)
We have developed mutli-level services, addressing the wide range of learners we serve. Some students start with survival English. Others join a beginning group learning English basics. Some need to work on conversational skills. At the same time, many need to learn reading and writing. The goal is to give these students the vocabulary, fluency and confidence to communicate in everyday and work situations.
