Early Intervention
Montana Milestones is the Part C Early Intervention Program for Infants and Toddlers with Disabilities, part of the federal Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). The purpose of IDEA, Part C is to support early intervention for children with developmental delays or disabilities. Part C is all about helping parents and families meet the developmental needs of their infants and toddlers. The words “parents” and “families” are used to mean anyone who is in charge of the care and wellbeing of a child. These can be legal guardians, single parents, grandparents, surrogate parents, foster parents, or other family members.

Support Services
Family Outreach provides a program of self-determined support services to adults with developmental disabilities. Individuals enrolled in this service are supported by teams of professionals who meet with the individual and develop skills and strengths-based plans to assist them in achieving their potential for a full life. Individuals in this service are supported as they choose to live either alone in their own apartments, with roommates or with families or in foster homes. Different levels of support can be provided depending on need.

Applied Behavior Analysis
Applied Behavior Analysis is a well-developed discipline among the helping professions with a mature body of scientific knowledge, established standards for evidence-based practice, distinct methods of service delivery, recognized experience and educational requirements for practice, and identified sources of requisite education in universities. Professionals in ABA engage in the specific and comprehensive use of principles of learning, including operant and respondent learning, to address the needs of individuals with autism spectrum disorder in diverse settings. Services are supervised by Behavior Analysts with expertise and formal training in ABA for the specific treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Supported Employment Services help you to: Match your skills and interests to various types of jobs that are available. Compose resumes and fill out job applications to apply for positions of interest and practice your interview skills. Be successful in your workplace by working with you and your employer. Family Outreach will receive information from you, your DDP case manager or Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) Counselor about your employment needs. Then we meet as a team and create a plan to meet your needs. We complete any necessary assessments; work with you to strengthen work skills, life skills, communication skills or self-help skills.
