THE REGIONAL ACCELERATOR & INNOVATION NETWORK (OREGON RAIN) HELPS ADVANCE THE FORMATION OF LOCAL-IMPACT, INNOVATIVE STARTUP COMPANIES THAT GENERATE JOBS, WEALTH, AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE STATE OF OREGON. OREGON RAIN IS HELPING RURAL COMMUNITIES MOVE FROM "SMOKESTACK CHASING" TO "GROWING YOUR OWN." ONCE IN A COMMUNITY, OREGON RAIN TAKES A “SHUT UP AND LISTEN” APPROACH TO DEVELOPING COMMUNITY-INFORMED STRATEGIES AND PROGRAMMING THAT ADDRESS RESOURCE GAPS.
