OUR VISION IS TO SEED LASTING SOCIAL CHANGE BY PROVIDING UNDERREPRESENTED ENTREPRENEURS WITH EQUITABLE ACCESS TO THE EDUCATION, MENTORSHIP, AND CAPITAL THEY NEED TO DRIVE ECONOMIC MOBILITY AND GENERATIONAL WEALTH IN THE COMMUNITIES THEY SERVE. AS ONE OF THE MOST ACCESSIBLE ENTREPRENEURSHIP SUPPORT ORGANIZATIONS IN THE SECTOR, SEED SPOT PROVIDES A SUPPORTIVE COMMUNITY FOR DIVERSE ENTREPRENEURS TO TEST AND REFINE IDEAS, RECEIVE PERSONALIZED, JUDGMENT-FREE MENTORSHIP FROM EXPERIENCED PEERS, AND GAIN THE EDUCATION AND RESOURCES THEY NEED TO LAUNCH AND SUSTAIN SUCCESSFUL VENTURES.

Impact Accelerator
SEED SPOT’s Impact Accelerator program delivers 8 weeks of acceleration via education, mentorship, hands-on tactical feedback from team members, investors, mentors, and network connections. The outcome of the accelerator is to help growing and scaling businesses raise capital, increase revenue, and create jobs. Alumni of the Impact Accelerator pitch at a culminating Accredited Investor Event, and have the opportunity to apply to pitch at future events. “Venture Thursdays” are embedded throughout the Impact Accelerator to prepare entrepreneurs to successfully pitch their ventures at the Accredited Investor Event. Venture Thursdays provide entrepreneurs a safe environment to practice their pitches and receive constructive feedback

Startup Spring Training
The annual Startup Spring Training program provides 3-5 weeks of free workshops, targeted technical assitance, mentorship, and access to catalytic funding to entrepreneurs, 80% of whom will be underrepresented (i.e., LMI, women, BIPOC founders). Alongside critical education and mentorship, Startup Spring Training will deploy $500 participation-based microgrants to underrepresented Arizona founders, and introduce entrepreneurs to a curated network of capital providers that specialize in funding small businesses that may not qualify for traditional loans or venture capital. This microgrant funding is secured through matching funds from local Phoenix-based donors.
