Mission Statement info

STAND4KIND BELIEVES EVERY STUDENT DESERVES TO FEEL LIKE THEY BELONG AND HAVE A CONNECTIONS. STAND4KIND PROVIDES A COMPREHENSIVE ARRAY OF TRAINING PROGRAMS TO HELP ELIMINATE BULLYING AND CREATE A CLIMATE OF KINDNESS AND SUPPORT. WE WORK WITH STUDENTS, PARENTS AND TEACHERS TO DEVELOP STRONG MENTAL HEALTH HABITS AND TO LEARN CRUCIAL SUICIDE PREVENTION SKILLS.

StandKind Teen & Family Coaching
Our goal is to provide awareness, advocacy, support, and skill building in real-time. Adolescents & family will learn about five areas of brain health, process practical and evidence-based skills into their daily routine, all the while learning how to best take care of their brain. Group members will process social and cultural barriers to improving brain health, and members will develop and practice self-care to manage stress, promote emotional regulation, increase mindfulness, and set healthy boundaries with others.

Stand4kind Ambassador
Our program gives students the opportunity to discover their own potential by developing interpersonal and leadership skills, financial skills, life skills, increasing their self-confidence and acquiring the motivation and ability to bring about change. Students will have the tools and training to reduce self-destructive behavior, youth suicide, break the code of silence, increase knowledge of warning signs and decrease bullying.
