Mission Statement info

THE GOAL IS TO REDUCE THE NUMBER OF FOOD INSECURE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL-AGED CHILDREN IN VOLUSIA COUNTY BY PROVIDING A WEEKEND MEAL SUPPLEMENT DIRECTLY IN THE HANDS OF CHILDREN IN NEED AND WHOSE FAMILY INCOME IS AT OR BELOW POVERTY LEVEL. OUR HOPE IS THAT PROVIDING NUTRITIOUS FUEL WILL HELP THE WORST PERFORMING STUDENTS IMPROVE IN ACADEMICS AND BEHAVIOR. WE UNITE DONORS AND VOLUNTEERS REPRESENTING DIVERSITY AROUND OUR COMMON GOAL TO END CHILD HUNGER.
